Hi, my name is Munishma Chetty and I am fundraising for my mum, Rina Reddy (43 years old, from Nadi, Fiji), who is facing serious health complications following recent surgery.

A year ago, my mum underwent a gallbladder removal (cholecystectomy) and common bile duct repair after gallstones caused severe complications. Since then, she has been struggling with abdominal swelling, fluid build-up (ascites), jaundice, and breathing difficulties. Her doctors have confirmed that her condition is complex and requires urgent specialist treatment that is not available in Fiji.

She now needs to travel to India as soon as possible for advanced medical care and further procedures. The costs of overseas treatment, hospital care, medications, and travel are extremely high and beyond what our family can manage alone.

This fundraiser is to help cover:

• My mum’s overseas hospital expenses and specialist treatment in India

• Medications and ongoing care

• Travel and accommodation costs for her urgent treatment

My mum has always been the strongest person in my life and the heart of our family. Now she urgently needs our help to get the chance to recover and live a healthy life again.
