Hey, Kelly here!
A few weeks ago I found a very poorly and underweight kitten while on holiday in Cyprus, and with the help of a local cat rescuer in Protaras we caught her!
She was very small compared to the other kittens in the area and was literally starving. She begged for food night and day and lived by a cardboard bin next to a supermarket near a bus stop and a road. Even the hornets stole food put down for her and the other cats and kittens.
Upon catching her she was taken straight to a vet where she was placed on a drip, wormed (she was full of them), stayed for about 5 days and was on a course of antibiotics for 10 days.
She's been living with her rescuer in Cyprus and I'm going to adopt her I've long fallen in love with her and she'll be lovely company for my other kitty Dexter.
I've got the money from selling anything that I can and although I just about have the funds, there are still costs that may crop up plus kitten food and bits to buy. I also have an old car that needs multiple repairs to pass its MOT in December and I practically live in an overdraft.
So I'm asking for help in raising £270 which will cover little lady's flight from Cyprus to the UK.
The other costs with getting kitten to me are the following...
Airline safe travel carrier €50
Cyprus animal control paperwork €35
Passport/vet fit-to-fly certificate/Flea and worming treatment/ microchip/ rabies and kitten vaccinations €130
I can cover these myself :)
Alice/Kiara's vet stay came to €180 which I've helped pay as well as other kind people in Cyprus who donated directly to the rescuer.
I feel dammed cheeky asking but any help towards little sweeties new life with me in England would be so very kind of you and help alleviate the hefty cost of rescuing this gorgeous little soul ❤️ She's going to be so loved and I can't wait to finally stroke her and hear her purr.
