Hi Everyone, my name is Leila Pacey and I am beyond excited to share that I have been selected to compete in the 2026 Miss International UK grand final.

The grand final is set to be held on Saturday 4th July 2026 in Warrington, Cheshire!

The winner of the UK competition will win the trip of a lifetime to Tokyo, to represent the UK on the official Miss International stage!

Although I have never done pageants in the past, it is something I have always wanted to do and it runs in the family.

I have also always aspired to follow in my Mother’s footsteps, Michele Ward who was crowned Miss Elegance, Miss Caribbean and Commonwealth and was a contestant for Miss Gambia. And my late cousin, Maureen Hingert was also crowned runner up to Miss Universe and put Sri Lanka on the World map.

I hope to be a role model for younger girls, showing them that anything is possible if you are passionate, determined and have a proactive attitude.
