Hi everyone! My name is Tami Razinger and I am a professional skier in Jackson WY. I am putting together a film named "Mezclada" this August telling my story of growing up bicultural and finding community through skiing. Being born in Argentina, and immigrating to the United States when very young, I grew up worlds apart from any relatives. Family is a very important part of Hispanic culture and not having any family around made finding any sort of connections more difficult. It was usually easier to blend in and put my Argentine background aside.

In this film, I will travel back to Argentina to reconnect with my roots and my family and ski the terrain that has brought together generations of skiers in my family and first inspired me to get into big mountain skiing. This film, though a ski/outdoor film, will emphasize the themes of culture and family and will be about embracing both cultures together, blended/mezclada.

This film has been a passion project of mine that I have wanted to put together for many years. The stars have finally alligned with a crew of filmers to join me in piecing my story together. Though this project is being supported by some ski sponsors, I am very shy of meeting my funding goal to cover costs of travel for my filmers as well as appropriate compensation. This money raised in this campaign will go directly towards supporting any production, editing and distribution costs along the way. Any $ amount goes a long way and if you are not in a position to contribute any amount, sharing this page is also extremely beneficial to get as many eyes on it as possible.
