Who we are
We are a group of international students. We come from Jingzhou, a city near Wuhan. Our hometown is also suffering from the threat of n-CoV virus. Jingzhou was locked down on Jan 24.

如今新冠肺炎确诊数量还在持续增长，除了武汉，周边的县市区同样处在重灾区，面临着严重威胁。正值春运，很多武汉务工人员也流返回了家乡（包括荆州，黄石等地），扩大了疫情的传播。而相比武汉，这些地区在医疗条件、防控意识、防控能力上却非常薄弱，目前的社会关注度也较低，但是他们的严峻形式亟待关注！
Situation in Jingzhou
Till Jan 26, 0:00 am Beijing time, there are 47 confirmed cases in Jingzhou. The actual number could be a lot higher. Hospitals in the city can’t identify confirmed cases as efficiently as possible. The city is only 3hrs drive from Wuhan, and 1.5hrs by train. Jingzhou is a potentially high-risk infected area, due to the traffic during the Chinese New Year.
Due to the increasing number of suspicious coronavirus infectors, all hospitals in Jingzhou, including the two main hospitals, are lacking medical supplies badly. Thousands of medical staff on the front line are protecting the people with barely enough protection for themselves. A lot of them are our families or friends.
We are deeply concerned. Being overseas, we want to stand by our families and friends to overcome the situation.
荆州距离武汉开车3小时，动车仅1小时20分钟。截止1月25日24时，荆州已累计确诊33例，疑似病例很多，尚无具体统计数字。但因为确诊的医疗条件缺乏，而新冠肺炎潜伏期长达半个月，感染症状不明显，实际疫情不容乐观。目前所有病例均与武汉有关，对外传播的概率应该与武汉市与其他城市间人流强度正相关。荆州是潜在高风险疫区。
医护人员在一线战斗，然而医疗物资已经极度紧缺，包括防护服、口罩、护目镜等都已告急。以荆州一医为例，平均每天的消耗量是：隔离衣200、N95口罩400、外科口罩4000，消耗之快，一线医护人员面临极大风险。
What we are doing
- Connecting with the local hospital supply staff with access to first-hand supply demand
- Checking with medical staff to make sure the donated supplies meet the medical criteria
- Fundraising and donating medical supplies to local hospitals in Jingzhou
