Hello,

I hope you are all well and staying safe in these unprecedented times.

We are reaching out to a small group who work in the 1280 and know Maria Crespin, who has been taking very good care of all of us for many, many years,  to share some sad news.

Maria’s brother was diagnosed with cancer four weeks ago, and he passed away three weeks later.  

As you can imagine, Maria and her family are devastated.

This tragic loss is in addition to Maria caring for her husband for well over a year, as he has been fighting his own battle with cancer.

When asked how we can help Maria through this difficult time, she reluctantly paused and her answer was "food."

Typically we would quietly collect contributions in person, but given so many of us are working remotely we have set up this Go Fund Me page.  
(Please Note: Go Fund Me takes a 2.7% fee from the amount you donate.
They also offer an option to ‘tip’ them, which we feel in this case is totally unnecessary.
So if you click on ‘other amount’ when it asks you for a 15% tip… and type in 0 you can bypass that.)

There is no pressure or obligation to donate and we cannot distribute widely given company guidelines.  

However, please feel free to discreetly forward this email to Maria’s friends and fans who may want to participate.
