Fundraising for Lyme disease stem cell treatment

Donation protected
On the 03rd October I am FINALLY running the London Marathon having previously reached 18 miles in training before the April 2020 marathon was cancelled due to the pandemic.     Here's a reminder of why I am running:

I was inspired to enter the ballot for the London Marathon after bumping into a friend and hearing the desperately sad story of her son and his partner who tragically have both contracted Lyme disease, are suffering greatly, and are trying to raise money for stem cell therapy.

Against all the odds my name was selected in the ballot - the challenge was on!  It was so disappointing, after having put in the training, that the April 2020 marathon was cancelled, but finally there was confidence that it could take place in October 2021 and so I started training again in late spring this year and completed my longest training run of 22 miles on 04th September.   The training now reduces up to the big day on 03rd October and I hope to raise as much as I can for this worthy cause.
