Fundraising for Katie Gill

On Sunday February 13th, 2022, a drunk driver rear-ended the Gill family while they were at a stop in Lapeer County, MI. Many of us saw the news article showing the aftermath of the vehicle crash and understood this type of tragedy could impact any of our families at any given moment. This time, the victims were our friends and neighbors, Paul, Shelley, and their 14-year old daughter Katie.

 

Despite combatting their own injuries, and as an example of the selfless love that parents have for their children, Paul and Shelley have requested that Katie be the sole focus of your thoughts and prayers.

 

For those that know Katie Gill, they know her smile brightens up a room, she is wise beyond her years, and she is an awesome athlete. As Katie remains in Children’s Hospital in Detroit and is facing a lengthy recovery from serious injuries, we, as a community, wanted to help raise funds to cover medical costs and any other expenses the Gill’s will need to get everyone through this very difficult time.
