My name is Gary Bowden, and this year is my senior year of high school football. This season means a lot to me, not only because it's my final year playing at this level, but also because I want to honor a close friend who passed away a few years ago. He should be here experiencing senior year with me, and I want to carry his memory with me every time I step onto the field.

I'm raising funds to purchase new football equipment and create a tribute to my friend throughout my senior season. Part of the gear will feature a memorial design so that I can take him on this journey with me and honor the impact he had on my life. The tribute on my gear will say "Forever 15." This phrase means a lot to me because my friend was only 15 years old when he passed away. It also has a special connection to me because my jersey number is 15. Wearing "Forever 15" on my helmet, socks, arm sleeves, and other gear will allow me to honor his memory every time I step onto the field and carry a part of him with me throughout my senior season.

The funds raised will help me purchase a new football helmet for increased safety and protection. I've experienced injuries in the past, and having quality equipment is important to me. Two pairs of cleats—one for games and another pair for Senior Night that I can keep as a lasting memory of my final high school football season. Custom socks, arm sleeves, and a shirt featuring the "Forever 15" tribute to my friend.

This season is about more than football. It's about making memories, staying safe, celebrating my senior year, and honoring someone who can no longer be here to experience it with me.
