My name is Sophie. I am doing my first triathlon on September 12th to fundraise for Folly Wildlife Rescue. They’re a small wildlife charity dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of injured, orphaned and distressed wild animals and birds throughout West Kent, East Sussex and the surrounding region. I volunteer with them once a week and I thoroughly enjoy being apart of what they do and also getting close with the animals!

This cause is important to me because I am very passionate about the environment and conservation. I am going to start my degree in Ecology and Conservation in September this year so I’d like to do something for my local area before I go.

All of the funds are going towards the wildlife centre.

The triathlon is a sprint distance located in Reigate, Surrey. It has required a lot of training and hard work so I’m happy I can dedicate it to a cause that I am passionate about!
