Fundraising for Facial Reconstruction Surgery

It is with a sad heart that my nephew faced an acid attack in 2022, which then changed his life. Here is his story:

" Hello, my name is Augustine, and I am 25 years old. In 2022 I had an acid attack by my fiancé who set me up and sent her boyfriend whom she was cheating on me with, to pour acid on me. Ever since the acid attack, I have undergone five plastic surgeries here in Ghana but still have a long way to go. Currently, I am unable to see with my right eye, my right nostril is sealed making it hard to breathe, my lower lip and upper lip are deformed and I am unable to turn my neck to my left side.

As of now, doctors here in Ghana have stated that I need an eye implant which can’t be done in Ghana along with the other facial procedures; unless I travel out of the country. I have made inquiries and spoken to doctors in the United States, India, Turkey, and Germany and they are requesting between $34,000 to $42,000 to complete the eye implant and my facial reconstruction surgery.

So please lovely people in the world; I am hereby pleading with you all to find it in your heart to help me reach my goal to be able to do the surgery. Thank you in advance for donating, and God bless you."
