Supporting children’s visions

If you want to support our project of providing glasses for children that don’t have health insurance, then click on the button above!

Volunteering in a primary school in a suburb of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, we realized that there is a high demand of glasses for children. They‘d come to us, being sad about not being able to see what was written on the blackboard. And it’s not just one of them. Due to high sugar consumption, diabetes is widely spread, which also causes eye problems.

The children are so motivated to learn and improve. They want to become doctors, teachers and scientists. It’s not fair that they don’t have the same chances as we do, just because glasses are not affordable for them.

This can not be the solution.
We already did a check-up for the children and there is many of them with a weak vision. The next step would be to actually sponsor the glasses.
This fundraising could realize that for the children in our NGO-school “Samaritan Education Centre“, mostly for kids aged 7-12 but also for some pre-schoolers that are just learning how to read. If more people donate, we could even support a nearby orphanage with the same goal as well. The money is needed for the glasses, screening and medical equipment.

This means a lot to us and of course to the children as well. We‘d be happy about your support! Thank you.
