For those of you who do not know Eli Wright he is an active 12-year-old boy who loves his friends and participates in multiple sports.  Eli 
almost lost his arm during an ATV accident on July 27 2021 in Belle Chasse LA.  The bone above his elbow exited the back of his arm, a 
blood clot formed blocking blood flow to his lower arm for 4 hours, his biceps muscle was severed and he suffered severe nerve damage in his arm.  We are in need of donations to help with his past and future recovery. 

Eli knew the magnitude of this event and he was in a fight to keep his arm.  He never gave up on himself and showed a tremendous amount courage during one of the darkest times in his young life.  His surgeries left over 200 stitches in his arm with multiple painful procedures during the 12 days in the hospital.  In the first couple of days, he showed compassion for his younger brother while lying in bed stating “I am glad this did not happen to my brother”. This was definitely the worst time in his life but it was also an amazing time to witness 
compassion, perseverance and the human spirit wanting to keep pushing forward no matter how much it hurt.  

Eli is home now, working hard trying to overcome the physical and mental challenges of this incident.  Many of you know that Eli competed in the sport of wrestling for the past 5 years along with his brother Christian.  Wrestling taught them to never give up when you're down,  
push yourself further no matter how much it hurts and most of all, it gave Eli the courage to overcome life's most difficult challenge off the mat.  Eli's mental toughness came shining through for him in his darkest hours.   We kept restating the goals that he had to meet on a daily basis to help organize his recovery while in the acute phase of his situation.  His body and mind never gave up.  Thank you to all the 
wrestling coaches, Christian Brothers teachers, brothers, sister, team mates, friends and wrestling families that helped shape Eli's mental 
toughness over the years.  He hopes to return to the sport of wrestling which he loves.      

We cannot thank the team of medical professionals enough. Thanks to the trauma team, orthopedic, vascular and plastic surgeons, nurses and physical and occupational therapists who are involved in his care. Thank you, God, for allowing Eli to keep his arm.

Eli’s past medical treatments and future treatments consist of complicated surgeries, continued Hyperbaric Oxygen treatments, physical 
and occupational therapy and much more to assist him back to a fully functioning life again.

We have started a Go Fund Me campaign Fundraising for Eli's Wright's arm to help with past and future medical costs.  We are currently 
reaching out to the community in hopes of giving Eli the best chance in achieving the best recovery possible. Please if you know someone 
or a business that is willing to donate to Eli Wright's medical care we would appreciate it.  We know together it will all make a huge 
difference in his care.  Eli's Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatments are $500.00 a visit. We are going 5 days a week now and will continue to do so. The very first visit he showed improvement and we believe it may prove to be a significant part in his recovery.  

We hope to raise $100,000.00 dollars for past and future medical treatments to restore movement back into his arm. God Bless you and
