We are raising funds to directly assist our immediate and extended family members and friends who lost their homes and, in some cases, loved ones in the devastating earthquake in Turkey.

Hello, my name is Sefika Istemil. I am a Turkish Canadian Lethbridge College Student and mother of 4 children, and I live in Coalhurst Alberta Canada.

The earthquake in Turkey has devastated our hometowns of Elbistan / Kahramanmaras, and Sanliurfa causing immense destruction and loss of life. Our family has been especially affected. Despite everyone in the immediate family surviving, their homes were completely destroyed, and they lost all of their belongings.

Many of you have reached out and thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

We're reaching out to you, asking for your help. Your donation can make a direct, tangible, and immediate difference. The funds will be used for 1/3 for immediate needs in the first place and the other 2/3 for building their new lives. We will personally distribute the funds raised to Hulusi(67) & Felaknaz(60),

Edip & Zeliha with 4 children, Sabit & Zehra with 3 children, Enise & Mehmet with 5 children,

Mehmet & Aysel with 4 children, Baki & Rasiye, Ismail & Sukran,

Fatma, and other family members who need help.
