Earthling is an animated short film about Jack Weiner, a grown man whose entire life has been shaped by being abducted by aliens when he was young, a life story nobody believes.

In 2009, Molly Graham + Keith Lane produced an award-winning radio documentary, Besides Life Here, about two friends who were abducted by aliens in Maine's Allagash Wilderness. There is renewed interest in this timeless story, and we're raising funds to adapt the radio piece into a nine-minute animated film, Earthling.

This short animated film Earthling covers key moments in the adult life of Jack Weiner. From his cabin in Vermont, Jack remembers his 1976 trip to the Allagash wilderness of northern Maine, and what happened there changed him forever.

Jack's story is more important than ever; it's one of understanding, compassion, and unity.

All the funding will be used to pay animator Ameesha Lee to bring this story to life.
