Hi, my name is Imogen and I am eleven years old. In February 2026, I will be running 1km a day to raise money for the Oncology department at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary.

In May 2025, my Gran was diagnosed with HER2-positive, hormone negative Breast Cancer aged just 61 years old. She had to have 24 weeks of chemotherapy and thankfully, in December 2025, she was able to ring the bell as her scans showed that her Cancer was gone. She will then have a mastectomy in February 2026 and we hope that will be the end of her cancer journey.

The Oncology team at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary have looked after my Gran since her diagnosis and have effectively saved her life. We can't thank them enough, but I wanted to raise some money for them to try and say as much of a thanks as we can.
