Publish Devotional Poetry Book "Love Grows"

Hello, my name is Daniel, I am raising funds for a book I am self publishing. This will help cover the formatting, additional artwork, and the recording of an audio version. My book titled "Love Grows" contains 108 poems, the same number as the eastern prayers beads and double that of the Catholic rosary. These are my offerings, my petals of devotion to the infinite, my heart songs... I have spent the last ten years sifting letters from the sands and these are the gems I have found. I also put a lot of thought into the order of the poems, as to take the reader on a journey, like listening to a well crafted album. Dearest one

do you know

how he made

the ‘spineless’ cactus?

I will tell you

in his own words:

“I often talked to the plants

to create a vibration of love.

‘You have nothing to fear,’

I would tell them.

‘You do not need

your defensive thorns.

I will protect you.’

Gradually the useful plant of the desert

emerged in a thorn-less variety.”

Can you see dear pilgrim

just how love shapes the world?

The future we will inherit

will be shaped

by our collective

thoughts and actions...

so step wisely

speak tenderly

and love without measure.

Someday

when we are kind enough

gentle enough

and every thought

and action

is imbued

with such love

this world

will drop

its thorns...
