Fundraising for Concerts for Charity London

Hello! My name is Jessie, and I am looking for funding for the new charity I started!

Our non-profit concert platform, Concerts for Charity, is founded on the ideal that music can create good and bring about change. We connect charities to funding through music, providing paid performance opportunities for freelance musicians, and aim to bring awareness to diversity in classical music. As the only charity in London who fundraise for multiple charities with a rotating cast of paid musicians each time, we are uniquely flexible in being able to tailor programs to fit the charity and circumstances. We promote and support talented music students from the UK’s leading conservatoires by inviting them to perform, as well as inviting performances from accomplished professionals.

We are looking to raise £3000 to cover the running of our concert series for the next 8 months, during which we will be able to present 4 concerts, showcase over 20 performers, and raise an estimate of £5000 pounds that will go to four charities of our choosing. The funds will be chiefly used for venue hire, promotional materials, and paying our performers. Aside from crowdfunding, we are also looking at acquiring grants from different foundations and charities to support this mission, and we are confident that we will be of great service to the community through seeing this project come to fruition.

Our first concert will be on the 27th September, in St Alban’s, London, through a partnership with Christ Church W4, and we will be raising funds for the ReBuild Ukraine project through the official platform United24. (https://u24.gov.ua/) All ticket sales from the concert, along with funds from donation points on the day will proceed to the project.

This project is born of a spirit of compassion and benevolence and a wish to give back to the society and greater world as we have been given and we truly believe we have the ability to make an impact in the world for the better.
