Fundraising for Colette's fight against rare form of cancer

Hi, my name is Nick – and I’m fighting for my mother’s life.

One year ago, my beautiful mother was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer: Mucinous Adenocarcinoma.

But this fight didn’t start a year ago.

For 15 years, my mother lived with severe stomach pain. Doctor after doctor told her it was probably “just lactose intolerance” or “too much acid.”

No one took it seriously. No one scanned her properly. And while the tumor grew silently inside her, we trusted a system that never truly listened.

Six months ago, the Danish healthcare system gave up.

They called her "terminal."

They told us there was nothing more they could do.

But we didn’t give up.

We’ve tried four different types of chemotherapy. None worked. Still, she wakes up every day with courage, and hope.

We’ve spent hours researching, connecting with others, and hearing stories of people like her being treated abroad – in Germany, France, the US, and beyond.

There is hope out there. There are hospitals and doctors who are willing to try.

But we can’t do this alone.

We’re asking for your help – not just for money, but for a chance.
