Fundraising for Cara Junior School

Cara Junior School in Mayfield, Cork, is a special needs school with 72 students that caters for pupils aged four to twelve years old who have a dual diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders and an Intellectual Disability between the Mild/Moderate range.

 

We (Staff ) are currently trying to fundraise to purchase specialised play equipment to meet the needs of all our students. This equipment will help our children to learn how to play and also, at the same time, allow them to address their sensory needs in a secure, fun environment. We are also hoping to raise enough funds for sensory processing and motor skills activities to benefit our children.

 

We have organised a motorcycle run for Saturday 11th June 2022 to raise some much-needed funds. Both staff and children of Cara would hugely appreciate any donation that you can pledge to our fundraising campaign.

 

Every donation helps and will be for the benefit of all our children.
