Fundraising for Brendan and Medical Bills

My sister and brother in law were hit with some very hard news this week, our whole family was. Brendan was diagnosed with a brain tumor and told he will need brain surgery.

Sunday started out with him going in for a procedure to hopefully reduce the blood supply to the tumor but during the procedure they were only able to stop 70% of the blood flow before he started to bleed. He was rushed into emergency surgery that lasted a very long 8-9 hours. He had 4 neurosurgeons working on him, which encluded the head neurosurgeon of the hospital.I will never understand the strength this man has, he has always been so extremely strong but he has really showed it through all of this.

About 24 hours after surgery, Brendan was taken off the ventilator. He struggled some with his breathing so was placed on oxygen, but we now know he also developed pneumonia. They are monitoring him closely but overall we’re so happy with how he is doing.

As far as other things, we will take them one day at a time. We thank everyone for the continued prayers and love.

Our whole family is praying for Brendan’s recovery. Please if you believe in the power of prayer, I ask you to say one for him, as well as the doctors and nurses taking care of him.

He is the best husband to my sister, the best girl dad to my sweet nieces and such a great brother in law. He has always been there for everyone, and he is such a hard worker.

Brendan will not be able to work for an unknown about of time and is the main provider for their family. We are looking at a long road ahead. My sister will also be out of work to take care of him and the girls. If you can help please do, or even just say a prayer.

Brendan's family will have many medical bills and extra expenses while they navigate life after major brain surgery and trauma. We want to make this easier on them by helping them cover these finances while they navigate the unknown. Thank you so much for your support.
