Baby Forest is a 12 week old Miniature Dachshund puppy that was born without front legs. He has a huge spirit and such an infectious personality. Nothing can stop him, his determine and courage is just amazing. Forest is a Special Needs Puppy and requires lots of care and attention. With this fundraiser we hope to get him a few sets of wheels that will help him as he grows and get him a bit more mobile. 
Forest is currently in care of Almost Home Rescue for Animals with Special Needs and all funds raised will go to carer Jools to get Forest exactly what he needs to grow into a healthy, strong boy!

UPDATE:
we have reached our initial goal of $2000 and cannot thank you all enough for your generosity and support. I have updated the campaign in case people want to continue to donate. Forest requires a lot of care and Almost Home Rescue is completely self funded, which means Jools pays for the medical needs of her rescues (including forest) out of her own pocket and from donations that are made. So this money is extremely helpful, and we are both so appreciative. 

Forest was fitted for some wheels recently and will hopefully soon have the perfect set to get him mobile! 

Almost Home Rescue will use this money to pay for his wheels, desexing, vaccinations and all medical needs as he grows bigger. This will also include physical therapy to get his back legs nice and strong.
