Hello, my dear friends,

My name is Amirhossein Ghadirian, and I am currently raising funds to support the integration of Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging.

As many of you know, artificial intelligence has become an essential component of modern innovation. However, implementing such advanced technology within medical imaging requires substantial financial resources. Radiology is a field that I am genuinely passionate about, and I’ve been actively reflecting on how I can contribute meaningfully to its advancement.

More recently, I’ve also become increasingly aware of the urgent need for environmental sustainability and the importance of advocating for it.

With this dual purpose in mind, I have decided to take part in the Toronto Marathon this October—to raise funds for the advancement of artificial intelligence in medical imaging and to promote environmental awareness and carbon footprint reduction while engaging in a healthy activity .

Today, I am reaching out to ask for your generous support in helping me raise funds that will directly benefit patients and enhance the quality of healthcare within our communities.

I will be running a minimum of 5 kilometers in the marathon.

However:

 • If contributions exceed $200 by the registration deadline, I will run a half marathon (21 km).

If donations surpass $700, I will commit to completing the full marathon (42 km).

All funds raised will be donated to the Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto.
