Fundraising for Andy's cancer treatment

My name is Andrea Lopez. I am fundraising to help and surprise my coworker Andrew with medical bills and related burdens that may come with a cancer diagnosis.

Andy is an excellent engineer and has been a great mentor since I started working with him, and that is why I would like to give back to him in this difficult times.

A couple of months ago he was diagnosed with cancer on his stomach and since then he has had to have several surgeries and studies to determine a proper treatment. Many more issues have been discovered along the way and treatment had to be pushed back a couple of times but he finally started treatment a couple of weeks ago.

Even though this sickness is hard, he has managed to keep a good mood and good attitude, which makes him one of the strongest persons I know, and the main reason I would like people to help me relieve some of the worries that he is facing.

The goal I have stated for him is to help return all the money he has had to give out of his pocket so far but if we keep it going after that, I think it would make him very happy. Anything helps.
