Fundraising for an AED

Thank you everyone who kindly donated! I have contacted the nursery with this brilliant news and they are thrilled. 100% of proceeds will go towards a high qualify defib alongside any other pieces of equipment needed such as paediatric pads and batteries. The cost of using the AED is £50.00 each time plus VAT so as you can understand, they are pricey devices BUT life saving. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to all!! This is amazing for families just like us who will now have the reassurance they may need.

My name is Hannah,

I am a mother to a 2 year old, and have a condition which is a form of inherited arrhythmia called Brugada syndrome.

There is a 50% chance of my daughter having this inherited condition but as she is so young, it is currently suspected. As a precautionary measure, it has been advised by the cardiologist that she is near a defibrillator, a life saving device which delivers a shock to the heart in the instance it needs restarting.

It is unfortunate that this device cannot be provided by the NHS or charitable organisations to the nursery which she attends. This page has been created to raise funds for a defibrillator which will be kept on site at the nursery at all times. This device is one which can be used in an emergency where time is of the essence.

Any donations towards such a valuable piece of equipment would be greatly appreciated.
