I know we all find ourselves in difficult times with this current economy. Being a single parent is even more difficult, although many struggle from day to day. Amy Lynn is a single mother of a 5-year-old who has made it thus far with some creative budgeting and responsible spending. Her 5-year-old daughter, being the center of Amy's world, has never gone without. Amy Lynn has found herself in a position of misfortune due to a diagnosis of an aggressive cancer (Tonsillar Sarcoma Lymphoma) on July 11th, and is now in her 34th day of hospitalization receiving treatment for the lymphoma and multiple secondary infections. Her first round of chemo has gone well, but she has many to go. She is in good spirits, although the financial drain has created unneeded stress in her life. Amy Lynn is a wonderful person and needs our help with prayers, good vibes, and creating cancer awareness. If you have not been screened, there is no time like the present. Cancer is devastating not only to our physical bodies and mental health but to many financially. Amy will have medical bills, medications, food, housing costs, insurance payments, transportation to and from treatments, and all the needs of her 5-year-old child. That will eventually drive a viable young lady who has taken care of her child and herself without complaint to homelessness. Amy is a sister, daughter, and a friend to many.
