A big hello to all my friends and family!
I'm writing with a unique ask. As you might know, I've been living in Australia for the past 5 months and have been trying to figure out how to potentially set roots down for the sake of planning my future.
One endeavor that I've been encouraged to embark on several times over the last decade is a podcast where I share my travel adventures. I've already solo traveled through many parts of the US, Canada, Europe, Iceland, South Africa, and Costa Rica - had the privilege of living in the natural beauty that is Aotearoa New Zealand - now it's time to travel Australia! I know some of you have said something along the lines of: "I wish you'd documented your travels so that I could feel like I'd traveled along with you," so here's your chance to help make that happen!
My thinking is that I could post all my content on YouTube & Spotify for free. What I really need are the funds to get out and see this big, beautiful country in my trusty campervan, Paloma ✨
I've been working at a gas station since arriving here in Byron Bay, catering to some local celebrities (Chris Hemsworth lives here with his wife, Elsa Pataki, and their kids), and yet, I've been barely making ends meet. The rising cost of living is hitting people hard everywhere, and unfortunately Australia is no different.
I'm incredibly lucky to have housemates who inspire me to get creative and think outside the box when it comes to living into a future that invigorates and enlivens me. That's how I came to the idea of extending an invitation to bring you all along as supporters and financial contributors to my next grand adventure! If the thought of hearing about my adventures in the Down Under gives you any amount of joy or excitement, please consider making a donation to cover my travel expenses for a road trip from Byron Bay down to Melbourne and then Adelaide this summer: November 2025 through January 2026 (You could also consider it my birthday/Christmas gift this year ❤️)
PS. Keep in mind that your US and Canadian dollars go much further here in Australia, so your generosity really does count!
I am already *so* appreciative of anything you can contribute to this journey.
So much love,
Sarinea
