​Hello, my name is Eliezer.

​I am a survivor, a hard worker, and a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community.

​My life changed forever when I was just 20 years old. Like many seeking a better future, I boarded the train known as "La Bestia." It was there that I suffered a terrible accident and lost my leg. But I did not let that stop me. With immense effort, painful therapy, and faith, I learned to move forward.

​I emigrated to the United States determined to build a life. It hasn't been easy, but I found work and the strength to keep fighting every single day.

​The Challenge

Today, I am facing a new obstacle. My current prosthetic leg is worn out, broken, and too small. It causes me pain with every step and makes it incredibly difficult to keep my job and stay on my feet. Insurance will not cover a replacement, and the cost is simply too high for me to manage alone.

​My Dream

I am coming to you with an open heart. My dream is simple: I want to walk again without pain. I need a proper prosthesis to regain my stability, my independence, and my ability to work.
