1. About O2 Production

Founded on December 6, 2014, O2 Production is a non-profit independent film studio in Vietnam specializing in producing Boyslove TV series and web dramas.

For over 11 years, we have dedicated ourselves to creating emotional, healing, and heartfelt stories that touch the audience’s soul and foster empathy. Our mission is to tell stories of love, hope, and human connection while bringing Vietnamese Boyslove content closer to international viewers.

2. Financial Challenges & Market Situation

Unlike Thailand, Korea, or Taiwan, where the Boyslove industry thrives, the Vietnamese market faces significant challenges:

Limited brand sponsorships: Most local brands in Vietnam are hesitant to support Boyslove content, making it hard to secure financial backing.

Low revenue: YouTube and streaming income cannot cover production costs, forcing us to self-fund most projects.

High production costs: Each project requires 50,000 – 60,000 USD for filming, editing, original soundtracks, marketing, and distribution.

Despite these challenges, O2 Production refuses to compromise on quality. We are committed to producing authentic, cinematic stories instead of rushing out cheap, low-quality content.

11 years ago, I founded O2 Production with nothing but faith and passion. As someone who grew up feeling unseen and unheard, I believe cinema can be a place of healing—for me, and for audiences who carry their own struggles. Every story I create is a reflection of my journey: from pain, to love, to hope.

Even though O2 has never made a profit, I continue because I know these films have touched lives, just as they have saved mine. I hope you can join me in keeping this light alive.
