Fundraising Appeal to Save Abongile’s Life
Donation protected
My name is Nokuthula Matsebula, and I am the mother of Abongile Dlamini, a brave six-year-old girl fighting for her life. Abongile was diagnosed with an extremely rare and painful condition called Cloverleaf deformity, which causes severe skull deformities and constant suffering. She urgently needs brain surgery costing $13677,85 to alleviate her pain and give her a chance at a normal life.
Why This Matters:
Abongile has never known a life free from pain. Her condition causes bulging in her skull, frequent nosebleeds, and unbearable discomfort, leaving her unable to sleep for more than two hours at a time. She relies on a feeding tube, which hasn’t been changed in three months due to financial constraints. As a single, unemployed mother, I’ve exhausted all resources to care for her, even quitting my job to be by her side. Without this surgery, her suffering will only worsen.
How the Funds Will Be Used:
- $13677,85 will cover the critical brain surgery at Rob Ferreira Hospital in South Africa.
- Additional funds will help replace her feeding tube ($558/month), settle outstanding medical bills in various hospitals, and cover ongoing treatment costs.
Every Contribution Counts:
Thanks to generous donors, we’ve raised $2954,42 so far, but we’re still far from our goal. Your support can literally save Abongile’s life. No amount is too small—whether it’s $10 or $1,000, your kindness will bring her closer to relief and recovery.
Thank you for your compassion and support. Together, we can give Abongile the miracle she deserves.
