Fundraising Appeal for Josiah Bennett MBU's Funeral

Dear Friends and Football Community,

It is with a heavy heart that I, Paul Bombo, reach out to you today. At the end of August, we lost a bright young soul, Josiah Mbu, while he was doing what he loved most – playing football. At just 13 years old, Josiah’s passion for the game was undeniable, and his energy and enthusiasm on the field were inspiring to all who knew him.

Josiah’s passing has left his family in deep sorrow, especially as they had already faced the loss of his father just two years ago. His uncle has been caring for him since, and this unexpected tragedy has placed a significant emotional and financial burden on the family.

In honour of Josiah, and as a community that shares the love for football, we are coming together to support his family during this difficult time. We are asking for contributions to help cover the costs of his funeral and give Josiah the farewell he deserves, reflecting his love for life and football.

Any amount, big or small, will go a long way in helping ease the financial strain on his family and allow them to focus on celebrating Josiah’s memory.
