Dear friends and family:
On Monday, September 7 - Labor Day – Frances Miramontes was in a terrible car accident. The impact from the oncoming truck was so severe that her car was completely unidentifiable. As a result, she has suffered a shattered arm, a broken leg, a broken collarbone, brain swelling, trauma to her entire left side of her body, as well as serious complications due to high blood pressure and uncontrolled diabetes. She is still in the ICU and is currently on a ventilator to help her breathe.
To make matters worse, she lost her job (and health insurance) due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Xavier, her father, also lost his job because of the pandemic and is concerned how he and Frances’ mom, Letty, will pay the piling medical expenses. As a family, we are asking for donations to help cover these urgent medical costs. Nothing is too small.
