Devastatingly we lost our beloved Ed (Edward Holderness) on 7 January 2025 – Just 2 weeks before his 26th birthday - suddenly and without knowing his pain. He was the most kind and warm person with a big heart and a beautiful big smile for everyone. We wait for the sea to return him to us.
Having walked the Sunrise Coastal Walk from Ed’s Place (Hythe/Seabrook) to Folkestone Arm with South East MIND on Sunday 7 September 2025, we are now walking 24km to Dungeness to complete a 29km walk around the arc of Hythe Bay surrounding the area where Ed is missing.
We are taking this opportunity to help raise funds for charities raising awareness to transform suicide prevention - James' Place (member of The National Suicide Prevention Network), local charity South Kent MIND, for Suicide & Co, who are supporting us and others devastated by suicide, and for a memorial bench for Ed on Princes Parade.
Any donations to our fundraiser will be very much appreciated.
