Fundraiser to learn about the "085 road repair and Snowbird"

I have been working to get the 085 road repaired. Utah County is being less than transparent and the Forest Service has not been following federal FOIA laws.

Collecting funds to pay for records which should be released free of charge if we had transparency at the County Commission level.

Who wants to chip in to help me raise $500 to help with Utah County "Transparency"? UNBELIEVABLE and a stalling tactic, the records were due today!

We received your GRAMA request for;

Provide a copy of the Memorandum of understanding between Utah County / Public Work and the Forest Service for assistance in maintaining roads up American Fork Canyon. This GRMA best fulfilled by Richard Nelson of Public Works

Provide copies of any electronic communication, texts, emails between Utah County and the Forest Service referencing the MOU and or the 085 road needing repairs.

Utah County does have responsive documents. Your request for a fee waiver is denied. The fee to process this portion of your request is 3 hours or $75.00. Please let us know if you would like to continue and an invoice with instructions on how to pay will be emailed to you. We estimate the time to process these records, after payment is received, is 5 business days.

Regarding your request for;

Provide an IT root level search on the term "Snowbird" from January 1, 2022 to present April 15th 2024

Portions of your request are a duplicate. We will process the portion of your request that is new. Utah County does have responsive records. Your request for a fee waiver is denied. The fee to process this portion of your request is 12 hours or $300.00. If you would like to limit the email search to an individual instead of county wide, this will decrease your associated fees. Please let us know if you would like to continue and an invoice with instructions on how to pay will be emailed to you. We estimate time to process these records, after payment is received, is 15 business days.

The total fee for your request, as is, comes to 15 hours or $375.00. Please let us know if you would like to proceed and we will send an invoice to your email with instructions on how to pay. We will not begin work until payment is received.
