Fundraiser To Honor Victor Hernandez
Donation protected
In honor of a loving husband, great father, and doting grandfather, we would like to support the admirable and selfless memory our Dad leaves behind.
A passionate educator at heart, our Dad served as the Math and Science teacher at Fa'asao-Marist High School where apples and oranges were used for countless examples. He dedicated his time and energy to his craft, finding ways to get through to those who struggled through the material and offering tutoring or extra credit because he truly took pride in his work and his students' success was his victory.
Never one to miss an opportunity for a laugh, we are quite certain that "Dad jokes" naturally ran through his veins. He constantly made us laugh, lightened the mood, and exercised our brains with his jokes, riddles, and brain teasers.
Whenever any of us, his children, needed help, he would offer words of advice and all kinds of assistance without hesitation. The patriarch of our family, he protected us, provided for us, made sacrifices for us, and did everything to support his family. For that, we are eternally grateful.
Life happens and it happens fast. We were given the tragic news of our Dad's condition late October and it has been a blur of hospital visits, treatments, surgeries, and prayers. We were finally given the devastating news that our Dad, whose heart beat for our family and whose entire life was dedicated to our family, would not recover.
We are preparing for end-of-life procedures and funeral services.
We ask for your help during this difficult time, and we would like to give our mother peace of mind during this very painful time as she is left without her husband of 42 years and a staggering financial burden.
All donations will be received by Ronald and Valerie to help with medical bills and funeral expenses.
If you have a fond memory of our Dad, we invite you to share these memories with our family to celebrate and honor our Dad.
We will keep this page updated. If you have any questions, please contact Ronald or Valerie.
