Urgent Aid for Sudanese family residing in UK!

Hi! My name is Mai Abdalla, I am a sudanese-irish national currently living and working in the UK.

I was contacted by family friends residing in the UK who urgently need our help. I am setting up this GoFundMe on their behalf.

I would like to raise funds for Urgent aid to this Sudanese family of four with two children in Newcastle.

Alaa, her husband and two children were evacuated from Sudan during the war with only the clothes on their backs. They have been given a place to stay in the UK. Alaa is in urgent need for more financial assistance. She is still awaiting her papers from the home office and is therefore unable to work. She has been waiting for news from the home office to no avail, which means she hasn’t been able to find an income. She has asked if there is any work available for someone with no papers and was told she could try to apply for a factory job. Unfortunately when she tried to apply, they told her she can’t train for this job as she needed the right paperwork.

She has no way of bringing in income to take care of her children at this time. Your help is greatly appreciated while her case gets processed. As war survivors, this has taken a massive toll on their family. Every bit counts!

All funds raised will be sent directly to Alaas bank account to provide aid to her family urgently!
