Help Needed: Escaping from GAZA and Saving Siwar's life

Dear friends,

I am Rawan Jumaa, a mother of five children, living in the war-torn region of Gaza. My heart weighs heavy with sorrow as I share the story of my family's plight with you. We have endured unimaginable loss and hardship due to the ongoing conflict that has ravaged our homeland.

Tragedy struck when my son, Omar, lost his life due to complications from surgery, and my beloved daughter, Asma, was taken from us in a bombing by Israeli forces on our home. Our once peaceful abode now lies in ruins, rendering it uninhabitable. Forced to relocate multiple times due to the relentless violence, we find ourselves with no safe haven in Gaza.

The destruction wrought by war extends beyond our homes to the very fabric of our society. Education, a beacon of hope for our children's future, has been decimated. Schools and universities stand as mere remnants of what they once were, leaving my daughters without access to the education they so desperately need.

In the face of such adversity, I am determined to save my family from the horrors of war and provide them with a chance at a better life. However, the path to safety is fraught with challenges. Exit from Gaza is restricted, and the costs associated with leaving are beyond our means. Coordination fees between Gaza and Egypt amount to a staggering $30,000, a sum we simply cannot afford.

Adding to our struggles is the illness of my youngest daughter, Siwar, who is in need of a liver transplant. The cost of this life-saving procedure is astronomical, further exacerbating our already dire situation.

I humbly appeal to your compassion and generosity in our time of need. Your support can help cover the coordination fees for our evacuation from Gaza, allowing us to escape the horrors of war and start anew. Additionally, any assistance towards Siwar's medical expenses would be a lifeline for our family.
