Fundraiser to help Sean compete in Europe

NSPIRE is putting together a fundraiser to help Sean Gillen compete in Europe in UK for the SBD World Log Lift Championship and Iceland for the Magnus Classic over October and November, 2023.

Sean has specifically mentioned that he didn’t want to fundraise as someone isn’t sick or dying, as it’s not something he expects so please keep this a secret. We put quite a bit of effort trying to obtain sponsorship to avoid this however this proved to be quite difficult

if you know anything about Sean, he is a gentle giant with a heart of gold who is always willing to give a helping hand. Sean is a family man with a wife, 3 year old daughter and they are expecting another baby in January 2024. Sean is one of the hardest working people we’ve ever come across when it comes to his business/job. Sean will be travelling solo without his other half and daughter and will need to continue to provide for them whilst he is away as well as funding his travel expenses competing.

Sean started Strongman in 2019 and has given absolutely 110% into this sport. For anyone who has ever taken a sport seriously whatever it is, knows that reaching the professional level is everyone’s dream. We are doing whatever we can to help make that dream a reality for Sean. We hope you can help too in whatever way possible no matter how big or small.
