Fundraiser to help Pippa’s surgery
Donation protected
Hi my name is Eliza and I’m the owner of Pippa the dog. On Tuesday the 25th, within five minutes of arriving at our new home, Pip jumped off the balcony 3 stories high. She’d never been in an apartment before and I think was searching for the backyard.
We rushed her to the 24hr vet where she was kept until 7.30pm Wednesday night. She luxated her hip so the vet attempted to place her hip back into position manually, however this procedure hasn’t been working (her hip keeps falling back out of place) so now she needs surgery as soon as possible.
To be honest, there’s a cost-of-living crisis and I feel rotten asking for people to give money when it’s hard to come by - but I also know that pip has touched the lives of many people so I wanted to give you all a chance to donate to her cause if you would like. It’s just hard timing for us because I’d just moved back here and didn’t have dog surgery on the bingo card.
No donation is too small and I’ll be grateful for any contributions. The surgery is called Toggle surgery and would involve them placing a pin that holds her hip in place. There’s a 75% chance of a successful surgery with a high quality of life for years after.
If you can spare it, I would love your help getting the world’s best dog back up on her feet so she can run around the park again and jump back on the bed and hog all the space with her stretched out body and rotten farts.
Thanks so much for your time and all my love ♥️
