Fundraiser to help John Quigley back on his feet

Please help our good friend John Quigley get back on his feet following his auto accident and resulting injuries. John is unaware of this fundraiser I have started for him and may punch me in the nose (lol) when he finds out.
As most of you probably know by now, John was in an auto accident in Halifax on January 2nd and had to be medevaced into Boston. After a stay in the ICU and several days at Mass General Hospital for his pelvic, sternum, spine, and rib injuries, he was discharged to Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital in Braintree. After almost 2 weeks there in rehab he was discharged on January 18th . At that time, John was unable to navigate any stairs and therefore was not able to go back to the house in Pembroke where he has been living. John has been staying with me in Hanover since my house is a ‘ranch’ (no stairs). With regular physical and occupational therapy visits coming to the house, he is progressing, now giving up the walker for a cane. He will be ready soon to switch to outpatient therapy to continue getting more strength, balance, and mobility back with the goal of eventually being cleared to drive and get back to living at his normal residence.
A couple of John’s friends (you know who you are :) created a Facebook account for him, one he never has logged on to and does not get notifications from. (I have grabbed his phone when he was sleeping just to accept pending friend requests to help spread word of this fundraiser.)
Please help our good friend John with even a small donation. John has always been there for me in time of need in any way he could. I know he has been there for a good many of you as well. Between us all, hopefully we can help John get back on his feet and buy a used vehicle and get back to a more normal life. I encourage you to share this with other of your/John’s mutual friends that I may not be able to reach.
