In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we would like to celebrate our very own Connie. Breast Cancer is the most common cancer in women. Statistics show 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed at some point throughout their life.

If you are visiting this campaign because someone sent it to you, then you have the honor of personally knowing Connie and her family.

If you’ve come to this fundraiser by “word of mouth,” thank you. There are no words that can express the magnitude of our gratitude to you for taking the time to read the below.

In August 2021, Connie got the most feared and terrifying news, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. From the moment she learned about the diagnosis, her focus shifted to fighting the disease and enjoying every minute of her days alongside her two young boys, family and friends.

Connie is the most remarkable and humble person we know. Regardless of weekly chemo, radiation, surgery and never-ending appointments with uncertain news, her warrior fight and vision for the future have been unmatched.

Connie is a person who has built her life around helping others. At work, she is a successful Senior Behavior Analyst who works with children on the spectrum in their homes. Connie’s team, clients and her clients’ families have been deeply affected positively due to her influence and immense heart.

We have sincere admiration for Connie and her family, and we know that this token will go a long way to help her days continue to be bright.

All contributions will go directly to her for expenses that she sees fit but we are very hopeful that these funds will continue to fund memorable moments in her life with her immediate family. Please don’t feel obliged to contribute as the intention is to raise awareness and to show our friend all of our love. Therefore, if this is not something you can participate in, then we encourage you to take a moment to send her a text, an email, or a letter, any effort will be appreciated.

Lastly and most importantly, please refrain from directly reaching out to Connie or her family regarding this campaign as this is being organized unbeknownst to her. The plan is to tell her on November 2, 2022 and hopefully she will be very pleasantly surprised!
