Fundraiser in Memory of Rico Dizon
Donation protected
*UPDATE: MAY 3, 2021*
First, thank you for your kind words and donations, thanks to your generosity we've exceeded our initial goal.
We now know that Rico passed on after complications due to COVID 19. These funds are going to assist a family that lost not only a beloved brother and son but also the primary breadwinner – know that every single dollar donated is truly appreciated.
Stacey and the family spent much of last week connecting over their shared love of Rico, celebrating his life and passions – including his love of cooking. While the family is currently under strict quarantine, they have promised to send Rico's recipe book to Stacey when they are able. We hope to share some of these recipes with you all in the near future as a small token of our appreciation.

Rico Dizon passed away unexpectedly on April 25th. Rico was a beloved uncle, brother and son. As a Chef he mentored many of his colleagues in the culinary arts.
Stacey is grateful to have met her brother Rico in the Philippines in December of 2009. In the years since the two grew to become not only brother and sister, but close friends. The two were fortunate to have recently spent time together in Miami while Rico was working as a Chef for Carnival Cruise Line. While their time together was short, Stacey will always have fond memories of her caring, loving, and funny brother – Rico.
The family breadwinner from an early age, Rico will be dearly missed. All funds raised through this site will go towards covering funeral, travel and other related expenses for Rico's family in the Philippines.
