Fundraiser in memory of Kim Wright

Hi everyone we as a family are raising funds in memory of our true force of nature Kim, who lost her battle on 1st January 2024.

Those who know Kim well will know exactly what she has been through in her far too short 36 years.

Kim was the bravest and most fierce tiny women I have ever come accross and she really did battle all the way to the end!

Kim battled with a rare genetic disease (VHL) which started with a brain tumour when she was just 14. VHL caused tumours all over Kim's body which also took her kidneys leaving her to need long term Dialysis and in chronic pain.

Kim has left behind a devastated family but most importantly her wonderful husband Steve who gave up work to be Kim's full time carer and her beautiful twin girls Donna and Jennie.

I have started this go fund me page to help pay for Kim's funeral, with any excess going to the Dialysis department and Overgate Hospice.

If anyone can spare a small amount towards the costs of Kim's funeral it would be gratefully received as the family have very little funds and due to circumstances its looking unlikely the government are going to be able to help.
