Hi there, my name is Eimhin, and in August I will be doing an endurance fundraiser challenge in memory of my Mom, who passed away in April following a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. I will be climbing the highest peaks in Ireland (Carrauntoohil), Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike), and Wales (Snowdon) in a 48-hour challenge.

I will be fundraising for two charities. The first is the Mid-Western Cancer Foundation, who do incredible work on a volunteer basis for those battling cancer, and for the families who have lost a loved one to cancer. Unfortunately my family falls into both of these categories, as my Dad was diagnosed with cancer a few weeks before my Mom passed away.

The second organisation is the Royal Horticultural Society of Ireland in Bellefield. When my Mom was first diagnosed with cancer in early 2022, the RHSI at Bellefield became her happy place where she could do what she loved most: using her green fingers in the garden. It give her many a happy memory, so I would like to give something back to them in return.
