On Wednesday, March 9, while on his way home from work, Will Henry Haynes III aka “Magiq” was involved in a horrific highway collision while on his motorcycle. He’s been in Neuro ICU for four weeks with a fracture to his spine, several broken ribs, and on a ventilator due to the damage to his lungs.
He underwent surgery on April 6, which confirmed the long-term prognosis of him being paralyzed at the waist, and will need to use a wheelchair, possibly for the rest of his life.
This is devastating news, and he has a long journey ahead with months of therapy to help him heal from this trauma. However, he is strong and can and will lead a whole and meaningful life again. Henry is a father, a son, a grandson, an uncle, and a nephew. He is well-loved, respected and has a committed support system from his family and friends.
If you have the means, please consider donating financially to help facilitate his transition back to normalcy. The funds will help with health care, income support, equipment and technical aids, general health care, adapted transport, home support, and adapted housing.
If you cannot afford to donate, please offer your prayers and positive vibrations to Henry, aka Will, aka Magiq.
