Fundraiser for Werku Zeray

Dear friends and family,

Our beloved friend and veteran tegadalit Werku Zeray had been ill for some time in Asmara. Her condition recently became very severe and she is now in Nairobi, Kenya, receiving medical care. She has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a cancer of the bone marrow. This disease has threatened her spine and spinal cord.

Fortunately, she has already begun receiving urgent treatment for this (radiotherapy, medications, chemotherapy). She is also eligible for a life-saving medication (Daratumumab). However, the costs for all this are expensive and her modest savings have dried-up quickly. This forces her to turn to the generosity (with full confidence) of her family, friends, and comrades to support her.

Our goal is to raise a minimum of $81,000 CAD ($60,000 USD) to help cover the costs of her current medical bills and ongoing treatment. Your donation, no matter the amount, is a lifeline in her battle. Please donate and share this link with your friends and extended family.
