Fundraiser for Wendy Frank

Wendy has been diagnosed with lung cancer, which has metastasized to other parts of her body. For many people, like Wendy, who have lived a healthy and active life, this type of diagnosis comes as a total shock.

For those who know Wendy, you know she is vibrant, full of life, and has a compassionate soul. Wendy has devoted her life to promoting creative expressions through music and art.  She has recorded music for young audiences, and has worked in numerous schools and community centers. For the past 12 years, Wendy has also run day camps for girls ages 7-13, to empower them through music and art. 

Wendy has spent many years joyfully working with school age children exploring music, with guitar and drums, and has led music therapy with medically fragile children at New England Pediatric Care. Her love of art has propelled her to make jewelry out of glass, copper and other metals which she sells at local galleries.

Wendy spent the past 6 years working at a health food store in Concord, MA where she holds many fond memories of interactions with customers and staff. 

She is unable to work now, but enjoys making jewelry in her studio. The funds raised here would help with cancer treatments, co-pays, travel to Boston, possible overnight stays, and loss of income. Ray will be working less due to his caregiving, which he has been giving with love and empathy.

Wendy is grateful for her loving, empathic, supportive husband and children, Ray, Jonas and Lia, for friends, family and her community in Groton, MA—brave enough to offer love and support during a challenging time.

Any unused funds will be donated to cancer research.
