The war in Ukraine is, first and foremost, a humanitarian disaster. Over one million Ukrainians have fled their country, and millions more are displaced internally. The Ukrainian people, society, and culture are facing a mortal threat for no reason other than their desire to choose their own leaders and chart their own future as a nation.

Putin’s senseless war in Ukraine is also a threat to the entire world, as it has the potential to usher in a new era of political instability, and his unhinged threats raise the specter of nuclear war.

It is important that the world stands together with the Ukrainians during this dark time. Evil cannot be allowed to prevail. Like many of you, I have watched this crisis unfold from afar and wished I could do something to help.

The desire to help in any small way I can led me to create this fundraiser to benefit United Help Ukraine

( https://unitedhelpukraine.org/our-focus ), a charitable non-profit 501(c)(3) organization which seeks to help by providing medical supplies to those injured in Ukraine, providing clothing to Ukrainians who are suffering because of the war, supporting injured Ukrainian veterans, and holding rallies in the United States in support of Ukraine’s struggle for freedom. All funds raised will go to United Help Ukraine.
