Tyler's Top Surgery

Hey!

My name is Tyler Jager and I am a 19 year old trans guy living in Thornton, Colorado.

Since I was in 4th grade, I have had the dream of one day being able to run around with my shirt off, feeling the wind on my chest.  Or the feeling of a t-shirt against my flat chest.

Top surgery is not a want; it is a need. Top surgery would allow me to not only live that dream I had as a kid, but would alleviate my gender dysphoria and body dysmorphia. For the past few months I have been using a binder in the meantime of surgery, and it has caused some respiratory issues. Top surgery means no binder ever again, allowing me to finally breathe easy as who I am.

I met with Dr. Agarwal on September 10th for my consultation and all was well! My only issue being insurance will not cover surgery until I resubmit paperwork in February (after I have been living as male for a year). So that leaves me with two options. Pay out of pocket and getting the initial date that I was aiming for (January or February) or waiting until February and set surgery back by a couple of months.

Please help me reach my goal that will allow me to live my life as my purest, best self.
