Fundraiser for Tonya Blake

Hi Friends,

Tonya and her family reside in Rock Hill, SC. Tonya’s family experienced a tragic house fire last week that resulted in the loss of her home and her husband, Reco did not make it out.

I’ve known Tonya since 2003, and was a case manager for her son, Torreco for over 4 years. Tonya not only takes care of her adult son, Torreco who has severe Autism, but she has devoted her life to taking care of others as a CNA. Over the past few years she has also cared for her husband, Reco who suffered a stroke back in March, and for numerous years took care of her elderly mother until she passed.

The family was renting their home, and does not know if the home will ever be habitable again. Tonya and Torreco are temporarily staying with a family member, but will need a lot of help to get back on their feet and find a safe place for Torreco to live. I’m asking friends and family if you can help in any way at all it would be so greatly appreciated. This woman who has devoted her life to helping others is now in need of help! All money raised will go to basic needs: housing, food, clothing. Thank you so much for your support! No donation is too small! Once we have a stable place for them to live we will know what furniture items/essentials are needed, and will work to collect those items as well.
